Starting from the Hakuba Goryu Alpine Botanical Garden (approx.1,500m), where more than 300 species of alpine plants bloom from June to October, visitors can hike up to Mt. Kotomi (2,007m), or trek further on to Mt. Goryu (2,814m) and the other major peaks of the Ushiro-Tateyama Mountain Range. As such, Goryu in summer is a place that has something to offer everyone and is enjoyed by sandal-wearing sightseers anbd hikers in full mountaineering kit alike. Goryu also boasts the cheapest lift access to the high peaks of the HAKUBA VALLEY. The Goryu Telecabin will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 6/1 (Sat.) to 6/16 (Sun.), and every day from 6/22 (Sat.) to 10/20 (Sun.). ＊There is free parking for 1,500 cars around the Goryu Telecabin Sanroku (base) Station, and the parking lot is never full in summer, even during the busy Obon holiday season. Escal Plaza will be open from 6/22 (Sat) to 10/20 (Sun).
*Special Night Gondola service will also available from 8/10 (Sat.) to 8/12 (Mon.).
