Now, Iwatake is one of the most popular spots in Hakuba in the summer season, so it must be busy during this Obon Holidays for 9 days at the maximum. Many facilities including the gondola were open 30 minutes earlier than usual, but a lot of people already came to HAKUBA
MOUNTAIN HARBOR, so the reporter headed to Hakuba Hitotokinomori (Photo) by the lift of 5-sen South at 8:30 a.m.

Because of the typhoon No.5, it was nicely cool with the temperature of 21 degrees in a weak north wind. However, the table seats in the forest on the side of the Northern Alps of CHAVATY HAKUBA were quiet because of the strong sunlight. The deck (Photo) in the forest was a good place to spend a comfortable time thanks to the tree shades.

At “Scenic Empty-handed Relaxing Yoga” held by KAYO MIYABAYASHI (No fees required, free rentals of yoga mat and yoga ring), I could see over 30 people enjoying yoga at the 10:30 a.m. event. There was also a workshop of yoga ring stretch (Photo). This event will be held on 8/11 – 8/15, 8/18 and 8/25 (3 events per day at 10:30-, 12:00-, 13:30-. Held in Sky Arc in bad weather).
