When a ski competition is held, Omatsu No.1 Quad is open at 7:00 a.m. (*Any people can take the lift from the opening.) In the slashy slopes of Mt. Omatsu Go-no-hara and Mt. Omatsu Family (Photo), I could enjoy high speed riding in the refreshing air. By the way, there are a wave, 4m kicker and banks on the skier’s left in Mt. Omatsu Family.

I met Hashibira Inosuke (Photo), a character of Demon Slayer, laying down on the slope in Oku Davos after riding in Omatsu. He said, “Hey, I always check your reports! It seems to be a warm day today. If you feel hot, just lay on the snow like this!” Oku Davos Triple was open 10 minutes earlier than usual at 8:20 a.m.

Anyway, we had a calm and warm sunny day. The groomed slope of Oku Davos No.1 Beginner Course (Photo) was nicely soft and in corn snow condition. Oku Davos No.1 Expert Course was also in the same condition and my skis ran well there.

The sunlight was not so strong thanks to the thin clouds in the spring hazy sky, but I got sweaty during skiing and walking. Because it has been warm these days and we had rain on 3/10 (Fri), the snow amount reduced greatly in Oku Davos No.1 Intermediate Course, but other courses still had enough snow. Snowcat Tour finished on 3/9 (Thu) already.
