The rain in the last evening changed to snow after that. It was so cold, -5 degrees, this morning and the white slopes and frozen trees made a beautiful contrast with the blue sky. The groomed slopes of Panorama Course (Photo) and Panorama Inn Course (4th Photo) were nicely soft and in good snow condition.

There was wet 1-3 fresh snow on the off-piste areas. When I came down to Buna Course (Photo), the wet snow was getting mixed with the corn snow a little. The nicely firm slope enabled me to make sharp turns and ski at high speed, so I could enjoy riding comfortably.

In Family Snow Park where is available for free from this season, a daughter of a family from Thailand (Left on Photo) was playing with a sled and her brother was enjoying to snowboard. Everyone, including kids, can go up to the top safely by 70m Snow Escalator.

A man from Yamanashi Prefecture I met in the morning (Photo) gave me the greeting, “I always enjoy your reports! I didn’t come to Shiga Kogen last week because it was very warm, but I rushed here today when I heard there was a snowfall. I am looking forward to skiing on these slopes.” After that, when I met him again and he said, “The snow is much better than I expected!”
