We had a refreshing morning with the blue sky and south west breeze. 2 people from Saitama and Tokyo (Photo) said, “We will be seniors in our high school from next April. We go to ski areas every year, but this is our first time to come to Madarao.” By the way, “Snowboard Beginner Free Lesson” will be finished on 3/21 (Tue).
[Giant]
The groomed slopes of lower Giant, Carving, Traverse, Crystal, Paradise and Utopia were slushy and in wet corn snow condition. There were deep ski tracks on the soft slopes. The lower part of Giant was busy in the morning and Carving in the next was quiet.
[Carving]
Free Ride Park is open now in the lower part of Crystal. There are a total of 8 items of a 4m kicker, 3m table top, 5m kicker, 6m rail, 6m narrow box, donkey rail, 6m box and cannon rail. I saw mainly snowboarders enjoying those items.
[Crystal]
Off course, every item was maintained well and the rails and boxes are set low, so even beginners can try them easily. You can get into the park by No.11 Pair. There is a restaurant “West Valley” closely, so you can spend a good time for a day around here!
