Yesterday, we had a snowfall after 2 weeks, so the slopes in the Mountain Side became in better condition with the white this morning. In the beginning part of North which is closed now, there is a big dog run. A couple from Aichi Prefecture said, “We love Hakuba because it is a pet-friendly village. We come with our pets, Riku (Left on Photo) and Sheba (Right on Photo), in both summer and winter season.”

The groomed slopes South and East were nicely firm and in good corn snow condition. The upper part over the branch point to White Ribbon Course of Sunny Valley Course was nicely firm and the lower part was slushy and icy only in the shade. In the lower part, the grounds were exposed in some parts.

An instructor of Hakuba Iwatake Snowboard School said, “Today is the last training day of “White Monkey”, our school training team. Mr. Yoshikawa Kenta (3rd person from the left), a professional snowboarder, and Mr. Goudo Seiru (Right on Photo), a rider of BC Stream, join us today. The lessons of our school can be took until the last operation day of the ski area.”
