One of the patrol staff said, “It was snowing all day yesterday. The condition of the slopes got much better today. Especially, Terakoya is most recommended today!”, so I went to Terakoya. 3 people from Aichi and Hyogo Prefecture (Photo) gave me the greeting, “We always enjoy your reports! We are so happy to see you finally. Today, both the weather and snow are so fine!”

The groomed slopes of LIPS Course and Philosophy Course (Photo) were nicely firm and in good snow condition! The edges of my skis worked well, so I could make turns as I wanted. Anyway, the view of the mountains of the Northern Alps and the snow scape was very beautiful this morning.

When I measured the snow amount in Front Area of Ichinose Family, the fresh snow amount was 15-20cm. In the groomed slope of Front Area, the upper part (Photo) was firm well and the lower part was nicely firm in good wet snow conditions. The slopes were getting crowded with people from the early morning and the ski tracks were made on the fresh slopes one after another.

Both the groomed and off-piste slopes in Takamagahara Mammoth (Photo) and Tanne-no-mori Okojo were nicely firm and in good wet snow condition. By the way, while I was driving to Shiga Kogen through National Highway 292 this morning, the road became frozen from the upper part of the loop bridge. At 7:00 a.m. when I arrived at the parking area, my thermometer showed -8 degrees.
