We had a calm good day for riding. A snowboarder from Aichi Prefecture (Photo) gave me the greeting, “I always enjoy your reports! This is my first time seeing you, Snownavi. The slopes are nicely firm and in good condition. Only 1 week left until the closure of the ski area, but I am excited with this good snow!”

The groomed slopes of Rabbit, Champion, Champion 2 and Expert Course were firm well and in good day! Actually, the lower part from Panorama was closed gradually during from 3/14 (Tue) to 3/16 (Thu) because the snow melted rapidly. However, the good snowfall on 3/19 (Sat) made the snow condition much better, so 10 out of 12 courses are open now!

A skier from Suwa City who is skiing here for 3 days from the last Saturday said, “The snow was wet and heavy on Saturday, but it became much better and in good condition yesterday and today.” The groomed slope of Panorama Course was hard and in mixed wet and corn snow condition. In the hard groomed slopes of Tatemizunosaka (Photo) and Family Area, bushes and ground were not exposed.

Most people were skiing with the lift of Sky Rabbit. Small snowballs appeared in Rabbit, Champion, Champion 2 and Expert gradually, but it didn’t matter for skiing. The off-piste area of Menonohara Area had icy spurs made yesterday, so it was in difficult condition today.
