The patrol staff gave me a pose, saying “Patrol Ranger Nin-ninger!” They also said, “The snow is gradually reducing, but the groomed slopes are still in good condition. Please enjoy it with us!” The slopes were getting crowded with families and groups at 9:00 a.m.

Only the half side on the skier’s left of Drago (Photo) is open now because of the snow amount. As of 9:00 a.m, I could enjoy wide turns on the nicely soft and wet groomed slope. In the lower area, the snow was very thin in some parts, but we could avoid them easily.

A snowboarder said, “The groundscape is exciting in NINJA SNOW HIGHLAND.” This course of Shine has a unique shape of the ground, so we could enjoy wide turns. I saw people skied into the 2 banks on the skier’s right side.

A child from Obuse Town in Nagano Prefecture gave me the greeting, “I always enjoy your reports! The slopes were so good in the morning.” The groomed slope of Blackbeat was nicely firm and in corn snow condition. The surface melted a little, so the edges of my skis worked well. The thin clouds blocked off the strong sunlight nicely and it was blowing a cool west wind.
