Although there were clouds in the west, the blue sky spread out in the east and we had a warm and calm day. The groomed slope of Ikenota (Photo) was slushy from the opening and in corn snow condition. I saw people re-waxing their skis after some runs.

At around 9:00 a.m, some people started to take off their jackets. The slushy groomed slope of Mt. Hieda Rinkan Course (Photo) was good for cruising while enjoying the beautiful view. In Itadaira Course, experts were skiing down with a big spray of snow on the slushy groomed slope.

By the way, Ippon-matsu Course was closed today. I am always looking forward to skiing on the groomed slope of Ippon-matsu, so it was sad news. One of the staff of the ski area (Photo, *The area where he posed in can be used for snow playing) said, “Good morning. Today, I got a day off and came to ride!”

All courses which were open today were still in good condition with enough snow. However, the courses will be closed one after another, depending on the snow condition. In the off-piste area of Mt. Hieda Course 1, there were bump lanes in the upper and bottom area.
