“Start with Ura Taro Family, also finish with Ura Taro Family…” In Sugadaira Kogen Snow Resort, the snow remains much until the end of winter in Ura Taro Family Area which faces the north. The first skier guest of Stage 3 Lift this morning from Chiba Prefecture (Center on 2nd Photo) said, “We often met each other in Omote Davos. The snow was reducing so fast this season, so the test-riding event of Ishii Sports was cancelled unfortunately.”

Although we had an ideal day for riding with the blue sky and no winds, people appeared in the slopes slowly this morning. The ground was exposed in the beginning and lower parts of Family West (Photo) and Family East, but it was marked with poles and the slopes were still wide enough. The slopes were nicely soft and good for comfortable cruising!

In Ura Taro Kamoshika Course, the gate training of Smile Snowboard School was held. A snowboarder from Hiroshima Prefecture said, “I came from Hiroshime. I’m enjoying this gate training.” I also asked the son of the representative of the school (Photo) about his age, he answered “I’m five!” with his cute glove sign.

In the next to it, people were doing pole training. Our reporter also became to want to try those gate and pole training while he was taking photos of them. By the way, the ski area will be closed on 3/31 (Fri), although it was planned to be closed on 4/2 (Sun). We appreciate all of you for visiting Sugadaira Kogen and enjoying our ski area reports!
