There was a good snowfall in Nozawa Onsen Ski Area which is planning to be open on 11/15 (Sat)! Uenotaira Area (Photo) was in a fantastic view with the snow, fog and frozen trees. The fluffy fresh snow in the area, Kokenashi and Yamabiko C Course reached 15cm deep.

By the way, Prefectural Road 502 (Photo) has been closed since11/6 (Mon). There was a 10cm snowfall in the road in the upper of Uenotaira Area. The fresh snow was 5-8cm in Paradise Area in the lower area.

From the last night to this morning, it was also snowing in the base areas such as Hikage, Nagasaka and Karasawa Area. This morning, it was snowing in the upper parts from Higage, while raining in the village of Nozawa Onsen. (*The white line in the center is a summer ski slope)
