Although December has just started, the ski areas which are open in early season are going to be open with over 80% of the areas for the next. In Goryu47, 9 courses were opened at once yesterday and today, Grand Prix, Technical and Super were open newly. In the off-piste areas of Grand Prix (Photo), Super and Technical had over 70cm of fluffy fresh snow.
[Grand Prix Course]
The center part of 30 meter width in Grand Prix, Panorama Course and the upper part of Route 8 were groomed well and covered with 3-5cm fresh snow. The slope was nicely soft and in good condition, so I could turn as I wanted while feeling the comfortable touch of the snow on my foot.
[Upper Route 8]
A skier from Chino City in Nagano (Photo) gave me the greeting, “I always enjoy your reports! I’m so happy because I met you on my first skiing day. I decided to come to Goryu47 because there are various courses open.” We also appreciate all of you including 2 people from Omachi City for giving us the greetings and cheers!
[Upper Route 8]
There was a 50 meter line in front of the bottom station of Goryu Tele-cabin before its opening. Today was a weekend, so each course was crowded with people. However, the ski area has 2 gondolas and many lifts open, so we didn’t need to wait for the lift while I was in the ski area.
