It was a clear morning with plenty of sunshine, and although the temperature was down to -12°C, it felt comfortable because of the lack of wind. The heavy snows that continued from 1/13 (Sat.) to yesterday meant that the snow conditions today were perfect! Being a weekday in January, customer turnout was slow, and fresh groomed corduroy lingered on Leo (pictured) and Blackbird for a long time.

I caught up with a father from Aichi Prefecture (pictured), who told me he was a fan of Snownavi, and added, “Yesterday, I left the kids at day care and went skiing at Tangram. Since today was supposed to be sunny, we came to Kurohime to let the kids play. My oldest daughter’s skis and boots are rented for the season, which is convenient because we can swap them out during the season.”

KUROHIME FAMILY PARK has a large number of items on offer (pictured) including tubes, snow striders, twisters, ZIPFY sleds, panda skis, and more. All items are free to use for those with a season ticket, a day pass, or a 3-hour pass! (*If you want to the park only, the cost is JPY¥2,500 for ages 3 and older on weekends and holidays, and JPY1,000 on weekdays.)

You can also ski through the two tunnels (pictured) at the end of KUROHIME FAMILY PARK’s expansive, gentle slope. The park is a large, gentle slope with two tunnels (photo) at the end of the KUROHIME FAMILY PARK (photo)…This morning it was in pristine condition, so I was tempted to be the first to try if I wasn’t working on my report. Of course, you can ride the No. 3 Lift inside the park with your sled and other items.
