In Terakoya Ski Area which is located on the highland on the altitude of 2,060m, the gate is open at 9:00 a.m, so you can enjoy the first track even after a few runs in Ichinose Family or Takamagahara Mammoth. A man from Hyogo Prefecture who was the first guest this morning (Photo) said, “It snowed so much. I will enjoy the powdery snow fully!”

There was 10-15cm of fresh snow on the slopes of Philosophy Course (1st Photo) and LIPS Course and the groomed slopes were nicely firm and in good snow condition! The off-piste areas on the sides of LIPS (Photo) had 10-20cm fluffy snow. The fresh snow was not enough to cover the slope underneath entirely, but I could still enjoy the powdery snow.

A father from Aichi Prefecture (Photo) said, “I have seen your website of Snownavi before. I was afraid of that it would be rainy in the lower areas, so I came to Shiga Kogen. The snow is so fluffy.” In Eternal Course, the groomed slope was nicely firm, covered with dry fresh snow and in amazing condition.

The reporter was too excited to finish making a report and he got on the lift of Terakoya Quad (Photo) even after the due time. The snow was falling so heavily this morning that my thighs were covered with snow while I was on the lift of Ichinose No.2 Pair, but it stopped at around 10:00 a.m.
