The cold wave which brought the wet snow went away toward the east and it changed to the winter pressure pattern. The roads around the ski area were covered with ice and packed snow after the sherbet snow yesterday. At 7:00 a.m, the snow falling heavily at the bottom station of Line-8 (Photo) made me so excited. People who already made a line to the lift said, “We are having as good snowfall as in the top season.”

We had a lull of snowing at around 8:15 a.m. when Line-C started the operation. There was 40cm of fluffy snow in the off-piste area of Route 2 and even 40-50cm of that in the off-piste area from Route 2 to the summit station of the gondola (Photo)! We could fully enjoy the amazing powdery snow with great floating feeling!

People seemed not to be able to help making shouts of joy with the perfect condition like in the top season. A skier who skied down in Route 3 also said, “The snow is so fluffy! Amazing!” A snowboarder who I met in Line-C also talked to me, “Today is the day! Probably, this is the last chance to enjoy this much powdery snow this season.”

When it past about 20 minutes after I skied down in Route 2, the snow clouds came back in the sky and it started to snow heavily again. The lower part of Route 8 (Photo), Route 5 and Route 6 were nicely firm, well groomed and in good condition with 3-5cm of fresh snow on them. The nicely firm wet groomed slope of lower Route 1 was covered with 20cm of fresh snow as well.
