Although I came to the sunrise operation in Toomi Area, the days are getting longer and the night lights were not working and it was not photogenic in the cloudy sky. However, the groomed slope was nicely firm and in good condition, so people skied down with high speed as these 2 people (Photo).

One snowboarder of a group said, “We met up at the sunrise to come riding. The slope was not too hard and soft, so we could enjoy comfortably.” The sunrise and night operation is extended to 3/31 (Sun) from 3/24 (Sun), so there are still many people here from the morning to evening.

A snowboarder who gave me the greeting, “I always enjoy your reports!” also said, “I was surprised because my friend told me that my photo is used at the top of the Facebook account of Snownavi. I was worried about the snow condition because it was warm this morning, but the slopes are nicely firm and good for riding.” It started to snow at around 7:50 a.m. and got heavier suddenly soon.

It was snowing much heavier than usual even the lower March. The groomed slopes of Panorama Course (Photo) and upper Route 8 were covered with 2-3cm fresh snow and in good condition. Route1, 2 were groomed, very firm and wet and Route 5, 6 were nicely firm and wet. The road was dry this morning, but it was covered with wet snow after that.
