The good snowfall from the last night to this morning brought a 20-25cm fresh snow in Tsuga-no-mori Area. The stairs to the Tsugaike Ropeway Station (Photo) was almost flat due to the snow and wind. The fresh snow was fine and dry, so I merely felt hard to walk on the snow there.

The artificial snowing machines were working hard along the Han-no-ki High Speed Pair (Photo) everyday. There was 20cm snowfall in the area out of the machines. It seemed to have much more snow if the artificial snow gets together with the natural snow, so Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area would get ready to be open in the coming weekend probably.

The amount of the fresh snow was 10-12cm deep in the lower part of Han-no-ki, Shirakaba and Champion. It was lightly snowing this early morning, but it stopped and gave the soft sunlight at around 9:30 a.m. when I came down from the mountain.
[Shirakaba]
There was a snowfall of 5-6cm in Kane-no-naru-oka (Photo) and 8cm in Oya-no-hara. By the way, there is an approach from the base area of Kane-no-naru-oka to Tongari-boshi Tower (Photo). I could enjoy the fresh air in this vast area without meeting others while walking.
