Hakuba Sanosaka is the place to be on non-snowy days during a cold wave! The groomers are excellent, and there’s no need to worry about the wind. I spoke with two visitors from Nagoya (pictured) before the resort opened, who shared, “We always read your reports. We’re more than friends but not quite a couple. The weather and the slopes are perfect today. Whenever we come to Hakuba, we always ski at our beloved Sanosaka. We also bought advance discount lift tickets before we came.”

From the start of the Lake Down Slope, Sanosaka’s classic viewpoint, there were clear views of beautiful Lake Aoki. A male visitor from Nagano’s Omachi (pictured) shared, “I love you’re site. I’m a HAKUBA VALLEY season pass holder. This isn’t a monoski but a skwal. I come to Sanosaka often because the slopes are so well-maintained and easy to ski on.”

I ran into Mr. Takeuchi from Kagayaking on New Paradise, and after telling me he was a fan of Snownavi, he added, “I’m looking forward to another great season! I’m really working hard on not falling.” Members of Waseda University’s Mont Blanc Ski Club (pictured) were practicing on the wide-groomed Paradise Slope (pictured), and greeted me saying they were Snownavi users. After so many greetings from visitors, it was clear to me that our readers appreciate the charm of Hakuba Sanosaka.
