The HAPPO SUMMIT MUSIC DJ event is being held again this season at the Oakley Terrace on from 12:00 to 3:30 p.m. on weekends through 3/2 (Sun.), with free admission. On this day, the DJs were DJ BACK4 (pictured) and AOK. Visitors enjoyed their time swaying or dancing to the music, sipping beer while admiring the view, or by simply soaking in the atmosphere.

I spoke with a group of nine people from Tokyo (pictured), who shared, “We came as a group of colleagues working in the same industry. Yesterday we skied at Goryu 47, and today we’re at Happo. The snow is excellent and very easy to ski on.” At the terrace, visitors can warm up by the fire while enjoying drinks like Corona Beer (JPY900), Happo Alpine Ale (JPY1,000), and Hyoketsu Grape Chuhai (JPY500).

The OAKLEY BASE is now open in front of YETI (pictured) at the Usagidaira Terrace. Here, you can not only purchase goggles but also test out four models for free: FALL LINE, LINE MINER, FLIGHT DECK, and FLIGHT TRACKER. The trial period for each pair of goggles is 30 to 60 minutes (Photo ID is required, and users must be able to access the dedicated web page using the QR code available in-store).

I ran into a couple from Aichi Prefecture (pictured), who told me, “We always follow your updates! We’re already Oakley users, and compared to what we’re using now, these goggles are even lighter with improved visibility. The fit is excellent with no pressure points at all.” When returning the goggles, I overheard them asking the staff for tips on how to handle fogging and moisture effectively.
