The open and expansive South Slope (pictured) offers a pleasant skiing experience even under this morning’s overcast skies. Starting with well-packed wet snow that had a powdery feel, the slope became firmer as I descended. I carved wide, sweeping turns with deep edges, fully enjoying the slope’s smooth surface.

A snowboarder from Azumino City shared, “The information on Snownavi is very helpful. I rode the South Slope (pictured) first thing in the morning, and it felt a bit hard. The East Slope, on the other hand, had a nicely packed surface.” The East Slope’s moderately firm, groomed base had a powdery texture, making for excellent conditions!

VIEW C and VIEW D (pictured) featured moderately firm, groomed powder snow on the upper sections and more firm wet snow on the lower sections. With variations in slope angle, undulating terrain, and hairpin turns, both courses offer endless enjoyment, no matter how many times you ride them. Following a chilly start to the early morning, temperatures remained low throughout the day.
