Goryu47 REPORT

2025.03.14440 cm / Sunny

This morning, I spoke with a skier from Kanagawa (pictured), who shared, “I always check your reports. I’m a season pass holder for Goryu47. Whenever I’m unsure about heading out, reading the slope report makes it sound so good that I end up saying, ‘Let’s go!’ and come skiing after all.” It turned out to be a pleasant sunny day, with crisp, refreshing air.
[Upper Portion of Route 1]

Today, I started by skiing the full length of Route 1, which stretches 2,500m with a maximum slope angle of 28 degrees and an average of 22 degrees. The upper section of Route 1 (first photo) had a hard, groomed granular snow base, while the lower section (pictured) featured harder-packed groomed granular snow. At the base, I met three high school students from Aichi who shared, “We came on a bus tour using the ‘Learning Vacation’ initiative.”
[Lower Portion of Route 1]

After taking the gondola and Lines C and E to the top, I headed to Route 8, which is 2,800m long with a maximum slope angle of 16 degrees and an average of 10 degrees. On this run (pictured), the firm, groomed granular snow surfaces had some hard patches, especially in the curved sections towards the lower end, so I made sure not to get too distracted by the stunning alpine scenery. Along the way, I met a family from Australia (pictured) who told me, “We’re staying in Hakuba and skiing for a week.”
[Lower Portion of Route 8]

Routes 5 and 6 (pictured) also had firm granular snow on the groomed slopes. By the way, 3/16 (Sun.) is Kids Ski Day, and elementary school students can ride the lifts for free! Additionally, starting at noon on the same day, the Hakuba47 Treasure Hunt will be held at the base of 47.
