The colonnade in the lobby of Hotel Green Plaza Hakuba has a height of 7th floor. This area is decorated with the illumination all winter season (*Christmas tree is put until 12/25). The hotel is accepting reservations for “Japan ☆ Shinshu Special ☆ 1 Night with 2 Meals Buffet Plan”, Lift Ticket Package Plan (*A lift ticket for Cortina comes together. You can exchange it to a ticket available both Cortina and Hakuba Norikura by paying extra JPY2,000 for an adult and JPY1,500 for a child.) and other plans.

The coldness came back last night and there was 20cm fresh snow in the lower areas of the ski area. The groomed slopes of Ikenota (Photo), Ipponmatsu Course and Mt. Hieda Rinkan Course were nicely firm. Some parts were too hard, even icy there.

Our reporter felt Ipponmatsu Course was in the best condition among those 3 courses. The firm and flat slope covered with 8cm fresh snow enabled us to make smooth turns. By the way, Early Season Price is applied until today on 12/23. From tomorrow, the 1 day ticket will be JPY5,000 for an adult, JPY3,500 for a child from 6 to 12 years old and JPY4,500 over 60 y/o.

The amount of the fresh snow was 20-25cm in Mt. Hieda Course 1 (Photo) and 20cm in Itadaira Course. The shallow bumps under the fresh snow were hard and icy sometimes. This morning, the weather was relatively calm. It was cloudy in the lower areas of the ski area and slightly snowy on the top area.
