Kurohime Kogen Snow Park was open on 12/25 (Sun.) and “All courses are open (=Over 80%)” even on 12/26 (Mon.)! A couple from Kanagawa gave me the greeting, “We always enjoy your reports! We have stayed since 12/23 (Fri.) in Kurohime. We are so happy to see the snow increasing day by day. The slopes are so soft and fluffy today!”

The visibility was not good in the upper areas of the ski area because of the fogs and snow. By the way, all courses, except for KUROHIME FAMILY PARK, are changed their name from this season. For example, the name of “Shinanoki” was changed to “LEO” (1st & 2nd Photo) and “Karamatsu” was changed to “Blackbird”.

There was 30-35cm of fresh snow in the off-piste areas of the beginning part of Monkey (Ex: Cosmos), Horse (Ex: Shirakaba) and Snake (Ex: Lerch). The slopes under the fresh snow were also soft and in good conditions. In Snake, the fresh snow reached even over my knees.

The groomed slopes were nicely soft and in good condition as well in Mouse (Photo, Ex: Shirakaba) on the top area, Leo, Blackbird, the lower part of Monkey, Dragon (Ex: Flower) and KUROHIME FAMILY PARK. By the way, the slope of Tiger along No.8 Pair which was not open today is only for reservation.
