Dry snow was falling in the cold north wind. The groomed slope of natural and artificial mixed snow in Davos East Course (Photo) which was open on 12/31 (Sat) was in good condition. In Davos West Course on the skier’s right side of Beat lift, the snowing machines were working hard.

The 2 people from Ueda City who has the season pass and came to Oku Davos No.1 Triple as the first today (Photo) said, “We heard Oku Davos No.1 Triple was open yesterday, so we come for it today!” The groomed slope covered with 5cm fresh snow was nicely firm in Oku Davos No.1 Beginner Course (Photo), so we could enjoy wide turns so comfortably.

“Hi, can you take photos of us?”, the head teacher of JAPAN Junior Ski Academy (Right on Photo) said to me. The groomed slopes of Oku Davos Family Area and along Oku Davos No.2 Triple Lift were nicely firm and beginners were enjoying easy riding.

After that, more and more families and groups were coming to Oku Davos No.1 Beginner Course (Photo). The snow falling this morning stopped at around 9:00 a.m. and we could see the blue sky through the breaks of clouds. By the way, Free Shuttle Bus will be available from Nagano Station to Sugadaira Kogen Snow Resort and Snow Highland (Minenohara Kogen) on 1/7, 8, 9, 14, 15 (*Only for reservations).
