As of 8:00 a.m, the line of people waiting for the open of Nagasaka Gondola Bottom Station reached over 100 meters long. The best course to drop should be Yamabiko B Course, an off-piste area (Photo). The slope was soft with bumps and 25cm fresh snow was on it, so people were making shouts of joy like, “Japow Yeah!!” and “Foooooo!” there.

In the groomed slopes of Yamabiko A, C, D, E Course, my skis ran well and made smooth turns on the nicely firm slopes. By the way, you can get into Skyline Course which has a 4.5km of length, if you ski toward the left side after frozen tree tunnel of Yamabiko E Course (Photo). You can go back to Yamabiko No.2 Four if you ski to the right side.

3 people from Aichi (Photo) said, “We went to Yamabiko B Course this early morning. The fluffy snow was so amazing!” The groomed slopes of Uenotaira and Yamabiko Area were also in good condition. (The frozen trees were beautiful today!)

The clouds started to cover the sky and brought heavy snow at 9:30 a.m. I came to the off-piste courses of Ushikubi Course and Kumataka Course (*Photo shows Hikage seen from Kumataka) through Uenotaira, Bunabayashi Course, Yunomine B Course and Mizunashi B Course. Ushikubi was in difficult condition because of the big bumps. On 1/12 (Thu), “Ski Day Special Memorial Event” will be held. Nagasaka Gondola will be open earlier than usual, at 7:40 a.m, and Skyline Course will be available! (Anyone who has the lift pass can join it)
