It was snowing slightly this early morning, but it stopped at 7:30 a.m. and the blue sky appeared. A man I met on the lift said, “One of the most favorite courses in Madarao is Tree Area from No.13 Single Lift! I hope it will be open soon.” The groomed slope of Curving Course (Photo) which was covered with 5cm fresh snow was nicely firm and quiet today.

After that, clouds came back and it started to snow weakly again. In the lower area of Giant, the half side was groomed and the other side was off-piste. The groomed slope was nicely soft and the off-piste slope had enough fluffy snow which gave us a feeling of floating.

A patrol staff who skied down from the off-piste slope of Giant (Center on Photo) said, “It seemed to be very windy last night. There is a snowdrift on the skier’s right side and some parts were hard on the other side. Please enjoy riding safely.” At that time, the snow got heavier in the north west wind and we soon felt so cold.

Anyway, we had a powday today, although the weather was very changeable. This morning, I met one of the staff of Madarao Vacance Village and he said, “Good morning, Snownavi. I will go to remove the snow after enjoying this powdery snow.”
