A snowboarder couple from Suzaka City in Nagano (Photo) said, “We moved from Yamaguchi to Nagano last year for enjoying snowboarding much more. We are so happy to live in Nagano because there are a lot of ski areas and the snow is so good. Of Course, Kurohime as well!” It was so cold this morning due to the radiative cooling, but there were no winds.

The groomed slopes of Leo (1st Photo) and Dragon were nicely firm and in good condition! My skis ran well there and I could enjoy curving as I wanted. Today, Blackbird was closed partially because of the workshop for “The 30th RIDING ON SNOW KUROHIME” which will be held on 1/14 (Sat) and 1/15 (Sun).

KUROHIME FAMILY PARK was nicely soft and in good condition as well. A father from Nagano City (Photo) said, “My son said the slope is hard today, compared with that of last week. The slopes were so soft because there was a snowfall on his debut day, so he feels like that. KUROHIME FAMILY PARK is one of the best slopes for teaching skiing to my son because we can ski there at just JPY1,800 per day.”
[KUROHIME FAMILY PARK]
Dog (Photo) was also nicely soft and groomed as KUROHIME FAMILY PARK. The slope was quiet today, so the corduroy patterns of the fresh slope remained for a long time even at 10:00 a.m. Local elementary school students were also enjoying skiing in their skiing class on the wide slopes.
