Today, Nozawa is in an amazing condition! At 7:00 a.m, I saw people rushed into the bottom station of the gondola from Nagasaka Gondola No.1 Parking Area with thier powder snowboard or fat skis in the snow. One of the patrol staff said, “We had 20cm of fresh snow last night in Yamabiko Area.”

5 people from Kagawa (Photo) said, “It took about 10 hours to come here from Kagawa. Finally, there was good snowfall. We will enjoy the powdery snow!” I heard people who were skiing in the self-responsibility special areas making shouts of joy like “Wow, it’s so fluffy!” while I was on Yamabiko No.2 Four Lift.
[Yamabiko Area D Course]
I also went to the off-piste area of Yamabiko C Course. The 20-25cm of fresh snow gave me a feeling of floating. The groomed slopes of Yamabiko Area (Photo), Uenotaira and Paradise were nicely firm and in good condition.
[Yamabiko Area E Course]
The steep slope of mixed snow of wet and fresh snow in Utopia A Course (Photo) was groomed and nicely firm, while we got speeding too much sometimes. The groomed slopes of Rinkan Course and Hikage Area were nicely firm and in wet snow condition. By the way, Hikage Four was open again yesterday on 1/16 (Mon) after the maintenance.
