A local snowboarder from Shinano-machi (Photo) said, “I moved to Shinano-machi from Shizuoka Prefecture 10 years ago because I was amazed by Kurohime Kogen. This winter, I didn’t buy the season ticket, but I enjoy here at just JPY57 thanks to Anniversary Thanks Event!” When I stepped into the fresh slope of Leo, I could hear comfortable sound of the snow.

The cold wave came on the day before yesterday brought a good heavy snowfall. All of the groomed slopes of Leo, Blackbird, Monkey, KUROHIME and FAMILY PARK were nicely firm and in good condition! Kurohime gets usually busy on weekends with families, so it was quiet this early morning and we could enjoy the fresh slopes again and again.

In KUROHIME FAMILY PARK, there are over 1,000 items. A father from Chikuma City said, “This is my first time to come to Kurohime. As my colleague said, this ski area is good for kids.” His child (Photo) chose the handle sledge and enjoy it by No.3 Lift.

In the off-piste areas between Leo and Blackbird, upper Monkey, there were 30-40cm fluffy snow. The ski area announced the snow amount is 110cm today. However, there were a lot of snow enough to cover the bushes and ground entirely.
