It has been cold since the big cold wave came on 1/25 (Wed). The temperature was -10.6 degrees as of 8:00 a.m. this snowy morning. The north wind also made it so cold that my body was shaking while on the lift. In Taro Area (Photo), “Tokyo Ski Technical Competition”, a competition as the qualifier of All Japan Ski Technical Championships is held for 2 days from today.

Stage 3 Lift was open at 8:00 a.m. for the race start at 9:00 a.m. (*All people could take it) and Ura Tarp East and West were busy with the participants who were doing warm-up. The groomed slope of Ura Taro Schi Heil (Photo) was nicely soft and in good condition, although it was relatively quiet in the morning.

Ms. Nemoto Fuka (Photo), an ambassador of Aible Hakuba Goryu from Tokyo, looked to be a little nervous and said, “Hi. I will do my best to advance to All Japan Ski Technical Championships!” By the way, the fresh snow fallen last night was about 15cm deep.
