In Sugadaira Kogen, it marked the coldest temperature of “-27℃” in Japan on 1/26 (Thu). On the first day of February, we could see the beautiful mountains in the morning glow, such as Mt. Omatsu (1,648m), Mt. Tsubakuro (1,545m), Mt. Taro (1,164m) and the Northern Alps after the clouds broke up at around 6:50 a.m.

The instructor said, “The snow remains in good condition thanks to the cold weather from 1/25 (Wed). Today, it will blow a south wind and start to snow tonight.” I could enjoy smooth riding at high speed on the nicely firm groomed slope of Oku Davos No.1 Expert Course (Photo).

Every course was in good condition today and especially, the groomed slopes in Oku Davos were very nice. The view was also amazing and we could see Mt. Neko, Mt. Omatsu, Hokushin Gogaku and the Northern Alps. The groomed slopes of Davos West and East in Omote Davos Area were also nicely firm.

Schneider Area was nicely firm as well as Omote Davos. By the way, The test-riding event of FOLKL which is in its 100th anniversary this year, “FOLKL TEST RIDE TOUR2023” will be held in Ura Taro Family Course on 2/4 (Sat) and 2/5 (Sun).
