The big cold wave from 1/25 (Wed) brought a heavy snowfall! No.13 Lift was planned to be open on 1/28 (Sat), but was open on 1/27 (Fri), so we can ski down from the top of the ski area! Furthermore, Crystal Bowl and River Line was open today, so all courses including Tree Run Course are available now!
[No.13 Lift]
While I was on No.13 Lift, I was amazed by the beautiful contrast of the blue sky and frozen trees in the summit area of Mt. Madarao (1st Photo). I saw people taking photos of the panorama view of Naoetsu Area on the top of the ski area. The upper off-piste area of Giant (Photo) was covered with 10cm fresh snow and there were shallow bumps.
[Giant]
The groomed slopes of Ocean View, Lower Crystal, Lower Giant, Champion, Paradise and Sky View were nicely firm and in good condition. In Ocean View (Photo), I could enjoy smooth cruising in the frozen trees.
[Ocean View]
In the slope of Crystal, the off-piste upper part was very firm and the lower part was nicely firm. The lower part of Crystal (Photo) was groomed widely, so I could turn as I wanted. By the way, “FISCHER Ranger NEW Model Test-riding Event” (Free, ID required) will be held on 2/4 (Sat) and 2/5 (Sun). There will be session time with Mr. Sekiya Kazumori, a rider of FISCHER.
