Terakoya Ski Area was reopened on 2/3 (fri) after about 1 month closure due to the health problem of the staff. This morning, Ichinose Quad was open 10 minutes earlier and Terakoya Quad was open 15 minutes earlier than usual. The groomed slope of the beginning part of LIPS Course (Photo) was nicely soft and the view was also amazing.

The groomed slopes of the middle parts of LIPS Course (Photo) and Philosophy Course was nicely firm. Terakoya is open later than the other ski areas in Chuo Area and the slopes are not crowded with people in the morning, so we can enjoy the fresh slopes for a long time by Terakoya Quad (725m).

2 people from Kagawa Prefecture said, “We are checking your reports often after you took our photo in the last January! Our friends were also happy to meet you there.” They also talked, “We come to Shiga Kogen at least once every year. It took about 9 hours from Kagawa and we started to snowboard at noon yesterday. The snow is so good here!”

It was cloudy at 8:00 a.m, but the blue sky was spreading out gradually and we had a calm sunny day at 10:00 a.m. The groomed slopes of upper Ichinose Family, Panorama Course and Terakoya Connecting Course were nicely firm. The lower part of Ichinose Family was nicely firm and in wet snow condition.
