This winter, Ontake Ski Area was open on 12/11 (Sun) with Central Course and all courses were available on 12/24 (Sat). Although Champion Area is planned to be open after 10 year closure, it is still not open due to the snow shortage.

The groomed slopes of Karamatsu Avenue (Photo) and Family (1st Photo) in the lower area were nicely firm and in good condition. Students from Ina City said, “We are in Spring Holidays from February, so we come with Yuki Maji! 20. This is my 2nd day to snowboard (Right on Photo), so he teaches me now.”

The groomed slopes of Paradise Course (Photo) and Central Course were also nicely firm. No.7 Quad was closed temporarily due to the strong wind in the upper areas, so most people moved to Paradise and Central. However, today was a weekday, so the slopes were not too busy.
