Under the clear sky, Snake Course (Photo) was in good condition! In this course which has a good view of the Northern Alps, I met almost only the people from abroad. The course was groomed and the upper part was nicely firm. There were snowballs in the lower part.

The groomed slopes of Ippon-matsu Course and Ikenota were nicely firm. In Cortina, the slopes got wet due to the warmness on 2/13 (Mon), but the condition got better again thanks to the coldness from 2/14 (Tue) to 2/16 (Thu). In contrast to the crowded slope of Ikenota, Ippon-matsu Course was quiet, so I could do warm-up at my own pace.

It was very warm just after the opening. A father from Yokohama City in Kanagawa Prefecture said, “We will stay for a night today with our friend’s family. Cortina is a good ski area for our children (Photo).” Their children were enjoying sledding and playing with the snow.

A skier gave me the greeting, “I always enjoy your reports!” The groomed slope of Rabbit Course was nicely firm and in good condition. The reflection of the sunlight against the snow was so strong today. It is recommended to bring sunscreen on sunny days from now.
