REPORT

It was snowing heavily in a strong north wind in the upper part of the ski area. A couple from Aichi Prefecture gave me the greeting, “I always enjoy your reports! Today, the slopes are not too soft and hard, so it is in good condition for us!” We worried about the snow condition because there was rain from 2/18 (Sat) to 2/19 (Sun), but the snow was still good!
[Rabbit Course]

The groomed slopes of Rabbit Course, Expert Course, Champion Course, Champion 2 Course and Jukai Course were nicely firm and covered with 1cm fresh snow. The firm groomed slopes of Panorama Area (Photo), Tatemizu-no-saka and Family Area were also topped with thin fresh snow.

There were hard bumps in the off-piste areas of Yuriwari Course and Minenohara Course and 2-3cm of fresh snow was on them. This morning, the slopes were in difficult condition, but the good snowfall today will make the condition better.

Today was a holiday, so every course was busy even from the morning. A father from Shiojiri City in Nagano (Photo) said, “I always enjoy your reports! I use the seasonal rental gears of Ski Pro Shop Azumino for our children. I wish there had been this service when I was a child.”
