Although “Sugadaira Curry Fes” was finished on 2/24 (Fri), there are other attractive places in Sugadaira as well. At Restaurant Wing which is located in the 1st floor of Sugadaira Sun Hotel in Ura Taro Base Area, you can have “Special Ramen” (Photo, JPY1,400), a miso-based flavored ramen with chewy noodles. The Indian curry with fresh naan is also recommended.

We had a sunny day with the clear sky and strong sunlight. It was not so cold, -1.5 degrees, at 8:00 a.m. and the wind was not strong, so I didn’t feel cold at all. The groomed slope of Ura Taro Schi Heil (Photo) was groomed, nicely firm and in corn snow condition. I could enjoy sharp turns as I wanted.

The firm groomed slope of Tengu Area (Photo) was already getting melted even before the opening. Taro Course in Omote Taro was also groomed and firm well at 9:00 a.m. It was in difficult condition for beginners because the slope was a little to hard for edging.

A woman from Kanagawa Prefecture (Right on Photo) said, “Yesterday, my friend (Left on Photo) snowboarded for the first time. I wish the snow had been softer…” Her friend answered, “I’m sore all over today. However, I still have a lot of funs!” The groomed slope of Hinode Area (Photo) was nicely soft and melted at 10:00 a.m.
