After the heavy snowing on 2/26 (Sun), it has been in good weather since 2/27 (Mon). My thermometer already showed +3 degrees in No.1 Parking Area at 7:30 a.m. The groomed slope of Champion (Photo) was hard and in corn snow condition, so I sometimes overspeeded there.

From the 9 waves which is located on the place where there was Freeride Park last year, people made shouts of joy such as “Wow, it’s so exciting!” I moved up to Crystal from Super Quad. The lower part of Crystal (Photo) was groomed widely, nicely firm and in good wet snow condition.

Paradise and Utopia were crowded with students. 2 people from Chiba Prefecture (Photo) said, “We stay at Hotel Monaile. We are happy with the good weather yesterday and today, but the sunlight is too strong.” At around 10:00 a.m, it was so warm that I didn’t need my jacket.

When I came up to Adventure Aisle by No.13 Lift, I could see Lake Nojiriko (Lower on Photo), Mt. Kurohime (Center on Photo) and Mt. Myoko. A snowboarder I met there said, “The view from here is so beautiful. I will try Tree Area from now on.” In the off-piste areas of Adventure Isle and the upper part of Crystal, there were icy bumps.
