Is this the last chance to enjoy the powdery snow? There was along line at No.2 Quad as you can see at 8:00 a.m. and it was getting longer and longer. The groomed slopes of Mt. Hieda Rinkan Course, Ikenota, Ippon-matsu Course and Warabidaira were in better condition thanks to the fresh snow.
[Ikenota]
While I was on the lift of No.4 Pair, we could see the amazing view of fresh slopes, frozen trees and the blue sky. I heard people making shouts of joy like “Amazing!” and “Oh beautiful!” The spurs made yesterday still remained in the off-piste slope of Mt. Hieda Course 1 (Photo), but the groomed slope of Itadaira Course was so flat. I could enjoy feel of floating on the 20-30cm fresh snow in Itadaira Course.

A father from Tokyo (Photo) gave me the greeting, “I always enjoy your reports! I was looking for you. Today is very warm.” Ikenota Area was crowded with families and groups. The groomed slope of Ikenota was melting gradually at 10:00 a.m.

I went up to Mt. Hieda Course 1 (Photo). There was also 20cm of fresh snow as well as Itadaira. Because the temperature got higher and the sunlight was strong, the slopes were getting wet and heavy as time passed.
