Togari REPORT

2023.03.12200cm / Sunny

Only 2 weeks left until Togari Onsen Ski Area will finish the operation this season. We had a warm sunny morning with the temperature with +1 degree and some people didn’t wear jackets. The groomed gentle slopes of Miharashi Course and Naranoki Course were slashy and in corn snow condition.
[Naranoki Course]

The groomed corn snow slopes of Joyama Course (Photo), Rinkan Course and Clover Line were also slashy from the morning. In each course, people were doing warm-up for “Togari Onsen Banked Slalom 2023” held in Champion Course.
[Joyama Course]

Totally 244 people participated in The 5th Togari Onsen Banked Slalom including all events such as Master, Legend, Fun Ride Male & Female and Open Male & Female. The winner of the Open Class event of both male and female will be able to advance to “Tenjin Banked Slalom” held in the next season. All participants got 2 cans of Red Bull, a book, rice and Soba noodles at the entrance office.
[Champion Course]

At this competition, the participants competed with the best time between the 2 runs of one in the morning and the other in the afternoon in the same course. At the inspection, they could just watch the course. In the lower part of the ski area, the groomed slope of Mimizuku was nicely firm at 7:00 a.m, but it already melted and was slashy at 10:30 a.m.
