There was the first snowfall in Japan on Daisetsuzan (Asahi-dake, Kuro-dake) in Hokkaido this season! This is 2 days earlier than last year for Daisetsuzan Asahi-dake and 4 days later than Mt. Fuji which had the first snowfall last year on 9/30. In the lower part of this week, the more strong cold wave will come down to the south than this time.

*It was snowing lightly on 10/1 (Sat) around Mt. Karamatsu Chojo Sanso as well. First icing was on 10/2 (Mon).
