Kohu Local Meteorological Office that there was the first snowfall on Mt. Fuji (3,776m) on 10/5 (Thu), a day later than Daisetsuzan Asahi-dake. This is 3 days later than usual (10/2) and 5 days later than last year (9/30).

By the way, Japan Meteorological Agency announced as the forecast from September, 2023 to March, 2024, “El Nino Pattern is still going on from the spring. It will very likely to last until the middle of this winter (90%).”
